Every fantasy movie has some scene that shows the skills of a master archer. Lord of the Rings' Legolas popularized archery in the early 2000's, with Katniss taking on the torch of badass archer in the Hunger Games. However, as proved by Master Archer, Lars Andersen, the portrayal of archery in film is grossly inaccurate and would never hold up in battle. Andersen spent years studying various historical documents in his search for the proper use of the bow and arrow. He studied numerous cultures and practiced intensively, resulting in the most amazing deomostrations of battle archery we've ever seen! This clip is amazing and should not be tried at home. Eat your heart out Legolas, Lars Andersen is the real deal!
