Books on Tape: The Name of the Wind

Every morning, I leave my house at 5:00 AM to begin my one hour commute to work. The drive takes me up a meandering highway, stretched across the face of a massive volcano, to a small office of scientists who spend the day exploring ancient lava flows and subterranean environments. My day job is great, but the drive to and from work, after working for ten hours, can be banal and tiring. As a means of helping me stay awake whilst driving to work, my husband purchased the book on tape, "The Name of the Wind," written by Patrick Rothfuss. This fantasy novel is the first book in
the Kingkiller chronicles and follows the life and adventures of a young theater man who becomes one of the most powerful wizards of the land. Colorful and occasionally comical, this story is the perfect addition to any one's morning commute. Check it out on amazon and let me know what you think. Cheers!
