It's coming together it seems for James Gunn's (uncredited actor in Slither) interpretation of Guardians of the Galaxy, which is slated for release sometime next year. So far the cast includes the lovely Zoe Saldana (Avatar, Star Trek into Darkness), Chris Pratt (Parks and Rec), John C. Reilly (Wreck it Ralph), amongst others. Guardians could be an epic movie, and I mean epic, but I'm not completely sold on Gunn, mainly because most of his films seem to be B movies and I would hate for Guardians of the Galaxy to be on his resume right under Scooby-Doo (that's right folks, he wrote and produced THAT). After writing that last sentence, I realize this could be a disaster! I would love to hear from my fellow nerds and fellow comic book enthusiast on whether or not this movies is going to be a complete disaster. Let me know. Cheers!
They shouldn't make this movie, no way it's going to look right with melding cgi characters with actual characters. Bums me out about the director as well.
