Christopher Nolan's "Interstellar" stars Matthew McConaughey?

Worms holes, Kepler's Laws, epic space travel and Christopher Nolan, dare I say this sounds like a recipe for sci-fi success? The love child of this potent mix of sci-fi ingredients is entitled Interstellar, a space odyssey written, produced and directed by Nolan.

I really enjoy most of Nolan's work, specifically his interpretation of Batman in the Dark Knight trilogy. When I heard that he will be channeling his energy into a space odyssey, I literally got goose bumps, that is until I found out that Matthew McConaughey has been cast as the film's main protagonist. Really Nolan? You picked Matthew? Didn't he prove his sci-fi worth in Contact? Wasn't that enough!? I have nothing against McConaughey, except that I think he has too much swagger and southern drawl for a serious sci-fi movie. Anyway, little else is known about the film except that it will also star Anne Hathaway and is slated for a 2014 release. Look for future updates about Interstellar on this site. Cheers!
