It's finally here! Elysium, a sci-fi movie written and directed by Neill Blomkamp, co-writer and director of District 9, finally has a movie trailer. The film, which is basically a futuristic "study" on social hierarchy, class and poverty, stars Matt Damon and Jodie Foster and is slated for an early August release. So far the trailer shows a desperate looking Damon suited up in a low-tech exoskeleton contraption, fighting his way into the affluent, space station society of Elysium. Apparently, Earth really sucks and all the big wigs live off planet, where they try to ignore what's going on down on Earth. Thus far the premise of this movie intrigues me, and its previews aren't too shabby either. Check out the Elysium trailer and let me know what you think. Cheers!
