The new Tale of Tales trailer is bizarre, beautiful, surreal and disturbing all at once. It depicts a world filled with water nymphs, heart eating queens, and fantastical beasts, all set against a magical, Victorian backdrop. Though the trailer fails to provide much dialogue, it has a macabre quality, and is beautifully shot and features a mysterious, melancholy soundtrack.
With a screen play by Matteo Gorrones, and with stars like Toby Jones, John C. Reilly, and Vincent Cassel, Tale of Tales is sure to deliver a unique and interesting twist to fantasy, perhaps even refreshing the current dry spell the film industry is experiencing after being let down by films like The Hobbit.
