Best New Girl in Nerdom: Zoe Kravitz

The talented and beautiful daughter of Lenny Kravitz and Lilikoi Moon (formally known as Lisa Bonet ), Zoe Kravitz, has been taking small steps in setting herself up in the world of Nerdom. She had a minor role in X-men; First Class as Angel Salvadore, later taking on roles in Divergent (as Christina), After Earth, and more recently, in George Miller's Mad Max: Fury Road. It's no surprise that she seems to gravitate to fantasy, science fiction, and super hero movies. Her father was part of the Hunger Games franchise, her mother has dabbled in the genre, and her stepfather, Jason Momoa, not only was on Stargate Atlantis, but had major roles on Game of Thrones and was the lead on Conan the Barbarian.

Originally from California, Zoe currently resides in New York. She divides her time between acting and playing music in her band, Lolawolf. Her band recently released their debut album entitled Calm Down in October of 2014. That's right, Zoe literally rocks, and we can't wait for her to really rock out in Mad Max; Fury Road.
